I had Botox last Thursday and have been left with a horrific bruise on my nose where I was injected for bunny lines and a small bruise about my eye where I was injected for my crows anxiety. I am absolutely livid with the injector likewise as with myself - she bruised me effectually my optics last fourth dimension I went (one of which has left a small permanent red marking) but I however stupidly went back. I put this downward to bad luck (although I have never hobbling from either Botox or fillers before) and but asked non to be injected around the crows feet this time. She agreed not to inject me there simply changed her mind and did it anyway.
After she had injected me in the nose she said she thought I was going to mark. She gave the area a vigorous rub - which I call back did more than damage. A huge chocolate-brown trample has come upwards. It looks like someone has given me a whack.
I accept been googling bruises from Botox and it seems they tin accept many weeks to fade. Sometimes you tin get permanent staining on the peel (called hemosiderin staining) which may or may not be successfully treated with laser. I know its early days nevertheless but this bruise is not fading at all. Hopefully information technology volition in time merely I'm pretty confident it will go out some sort of mark. I do have broken veins in my nose and she must of nicked i (or several). The veins should have been fairly obvious though and so presumably she could have avoided them.
I suspect she was using a larger gauge needle as the injections injure more than normal and left more visible puncture marks in the skin and fabricated more than of a "crunch" when they went in.
The injector is a nurse with a long-standing practice and glowing reviews on her website.
Has anyone else had a similar feel? Did the bruises fade?
I can't hide the marking with makeup and have events organised this week then I will take to tell people the truth.

I've had Botox a few times and never ever bruised like that. Had two small marks from the needle but nothing else. It turned out that she should have had a presciber with her equally she wasn't one herself
Bing an ex nurse she was struck off,and wasn't immune to do whatever aesthetics again,she had to before a board of nurses panel
I know it's a hazard y'all take, just this was more than just normal bruising

Was your lady a presciber,[qualified to prescible medication] or did she have one with her,
If not she was working illegally

Also when i rang to let her know how bad it looked and asked her to meet me she said she would run into me in two weeks at review
I did find out later i wasn't the simply ane this happened to, just only 1 to take photos and report

I've never had Botox but apply arnica foam on bruises and this makes them disappear in a few days
Had a nasty bruise from filler and arnica cream really helped.
Thank y'all for your replies everyone and sorry that I didn't answer earlier - I managed to spill tea on my laptop and had to wait until it was dry out or adventure frying it (and possibly myself). I'grand sorry that some of you have also had bad experiences with bruising but relieved that the bruises do get...eventually.
Princess that sound horrific, then glad it was resolved in the end. What I don't understand is how the bruising can occur so far from the injection site, maybe the Botox solution tin can spread pretty far. I'chiliad pretty sure my injector is able to prescribe botox every bit she has her own clinic just I will endeavour and cheque.

I wish i had sued her, it was very painful, she denied injecting in my nose,but it was evidently to encounter,and it bubbled up
She was also in a lot of trouble though because she was not a prescriber, and shouldn't give botox without one,
I didn't know that and i don't think many people practise,or it's illegal

Just thought I would update. Most of the bruising has faded but still some greenish colouring left - probably take some other week or so to go completely. It looks like I'm going to be left with a largish patch of broken veins on my olfactory organ where the nurse rubbed the area, I already had some broken veins in that location but they look much worse now and information technology volition be difficult to cover with makeup. Can anyone recommend a proficient treatment for those?.
A decent concealer will cover broken veins.

Yep of class I am obsessed - I should have looking crap and non endeavour to do anything about it. Unfortunately I'm too vain. Only I take been punished for that, and of course I likewise deserve a good telling off too.

I've got a needle bruise this time,had information technology done yesterday.It was a different clinician to the 1 I normally employ though,she never bruises me.

I think electrolysis was more than effective from retention. But more than painful. I only asked the lady doing it. I've had to do olfactory organ a few times every bit blowing nose aggravates them over time
I went to Prima Britania in Hammersmith. I really rate them
